FryndlyApp Refund and No-Show Policy
All users of the FryndlyApp shall be subject to the following Refund and No-Show Policy.
1. If a Seller (Fryndly Local or Fryndly Tutor) of any particular booking transaction fails to show up to the booking scheduled at the last agreed-upon location and time within 20 minutes of that agreed upon booking time and location, the Buyer (User-Guest) of that transaction shall be entitled to a full refund of the hourly rate they were charged as a consequence of scheduling said booking. Last Agreed Upon meeting time and location shall be defined as what was agreed upon by the Seller and Buyer at the time of booking, or the last agreed-upon amended meeting time and location as evidenced by the in-app chat between the parties. For example, if Buyer and Seller agreed upon a meeting time and place in the booking, but Seller was 22 minutes late, messaged the Buyer in the chat that they were running late and if they could meet in the next 10 minutes, if the Buyer agrees to the ten minute extension and Seller shows up within those 10 minutes at the agreed-upon place, Buyer will not be eligible for a refund. Conversely, in the above scenario, if Buyer refuses to agree to the extension, the Buyer will be eligible for a refund.
2. If a Buyer of any particular booking transaction fails to show up to the booking scheduled at the last agreed-upon location and time within one hour of that agreed- upon booking time and location, as defined above, the Buyer (User-Guest) of that transaction shall forfeit that first hourly rate they were charged as a consequence of scheduling said booking as professional services rendered. Thereafter, the Seller may remain and continue the booking at Seller’s discretion in the event Buyer shows up at the last agreed-upon booking time and location.
3. Sellers who fail to show up on time (within 20 minutes) of the last agreed-upon booking time and location more than two times in any month are subject to a 30-day suspension of their use of the app. Punctuality and reliability are key on the FryndlyApp platform. Hence, we strongly encourage all parties to communicate with one another after bookings to foster mutual respect and a fun environment for all.
